On the 28rd of June, prof. Marcin Niemiec from AGH University of Science and Technology, Krakow, Poland gave a lecture on the topic “A key is the key of cybersecurity – a short journey via symmetric, asymmetric, neural, and quantum cryptography”. As part of the presentation, students had the opportunity to become familiar with advanced approaches of cryptography such as the application of neural networks for the correction of errors in the distribution of cryptographic keys. May 17 – International day of Telecommunication and Information Society
The Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina has organized a press conference to mark the 17th of May, the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day. The announcement of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the First International Telegraphic Convention in 1865 and the establishment of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) this year focuses on the topic “Overcoming the mismatch of standardization”. ITU standards offer a common basis for growth and innovation, thus speeding up progress towards sustainable development goals.
